This is how I always feel when people don't hug me fast enough.

Stage 1: Happy. I like hugs, and the prospect of getting one pleases me.

Stage 2: Grumpy. I am somewhat put out that no one is responding to my charms.

Stage 3: Needy. I don't like feeling grumpy, I need a hug to make me feel better.

Stage 4: Angry. If you don't hug me soon I'm going to pounce on you and bite you!

...because that fixes everything. *cough*.
